Being much surprised

Lately I'm paying more attention to smaller brands and startups. I've been wearing products from major brands for years, but noticed their quality gradually declining. Experiences like this remind me why it's worth giving smaller companies a chance.

Before ordering, I was worried that the technical fabric might feel stiff or have that slightly shiny, synthetic look that some performance clothing has. I was completely wrong! The fabric is surprisingly soft and comfortable, and it actually looks even better than many cotton shorts. I was also concerned that the Jet Black color might be more of a dark grey based on one of the product photos, but in reality it is quite rich black!

I'm 186 cm with an athletic build, and the M fits me perfectly. The construction quality is above average, stitching is clean. The fabric is lightweight – much lighter than denim – and has an impressive amount of stretch. I can easily do the splits in these shorts, and they still look like classic chino shorts rather than athletic wear.

Only time will tell how well the fabric resists fading in the sun, but based on my first impressions, it looks very promising.

I also want to mention the outstanding customer service. Before shipping my order, the owner contacted me to confirm my measurements and make sure I had chosen the right size. After I received the package, he also reached out regarding the VAT I had paid for importing the shorts into Europe and refunded it. I honestly didn't expect that level of customer service. It completely exceeded my expectations 🤯.

At the moment, these shorts are the only item in the collection that matches my style. But after this, Atlas & Bone has become one of those stores I'll be checking from time to time to see what's new 😉

Another Awesome Product

Another winner from this brand, these shorts are now my everyday go to, and it has pushed my other shorts aside to a dark corner of my wardrobe.

The fabric feels amazing and stretchy, so it doesn't restrict your movement at all, especially at the hips area.

I also love that it doesn't show abrasion marks after wear, and it doesn't age or fade the way typical chino shorts fabric does.

The fit is great as well, the 6 inch length works perfectly for me, not too long, not too short.

Great move by the brand to offer different inseam lengths.

Great new addition to the collection

Not easy to find the right shorts, they're either too big too small, too skinny, too baggy, too long too short. I bought the size XS (I'm a 28/29) and it works. I tried the 7 inch this time which is fine, I might try the 6 next time in another colour but the fit works!

Very versatile and comfy shorts :)

Been looking for a pair of shorts for both formal and informal wear so this new product was just awesome. Length and fit are just nice - bought the 5” one, M size and I m 169cm :). The shorts really do end at just the right length to show just enough legs without trying too hard! Finally, the feel of the shorts are very comfy, stretchy material yes, and most important it does not ‘bite’ at the hips. Good buy really!

Fits perfectly

The 6 inch shorts worked perfect - a good length while still feeling smart and polished. The material was so stretchy I felt like I could probably go right into a workout if I wanted!
