Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who is Atlas & Bone designed for?
Atlas & Bone is built specifically for men 175cm (5’9”) and under who want clothes that fit right off the rack. Our garments are proportioned intentionally for shorter frames so you don’t have to shorten sleeves, hem pants, or compromise on silhouette.
2. How is Atlas & Bone different from other “short(er) men” brands?
Unlike brands that simply shorten garments, we re-engineer proportions holistically — adjusting sleeve pitch, torso length, shoulder balance, and taper so each piece looks intentional, not just resized.
We don’t shrink clothing. We rebuild it properly.
3. What heights does Atlas & Bone cater to?
Our primary focus is men between 160–175cm (5’3”–5’9”), where proportion balance matters most.
That said, height alone isn’t the only factor. Build, shoulder width, and fit preference matter just as much. Some customers 180cm and above choose our pieces intentionally for a cleaner length or cropped silhouette.
We recommend reviewing garment measurements carefully before purchasing.
4. What if I’m short but have broad shoulders or a muscular, athletic build?
That’s exactly who we build for.
Many brands force shorter men to choose between “fits my height” and “fits my shoulders.” Our pieces balance shoulder width, torso length, and taper so broader or athletic builds don’t feel restricted or oversized.
5. Do I still need to tailor Atlas & Bone pieces?
Learn more about our approach in the Atlas & Bone Fit Framework.
In most cases, no.
Most mainstream brands design around taller base models and simply scale down. This often results in excessive sleeve length and unbalanced proportions.
Atlas & Bone garments are designed from a shorter base block, helping eliminate the “tailor tax” many men 175cm and under experience.
6. Why are Atlas & Bone products priced higher than fast fashion brands?
We produce in small, intentional batches using premium fabrics and refined construction methods. You’re investing in:
- Re-engineered proportions (not scaled-down sizing)
- Higher-quality materials
- Smaller production runs with stricter quality control
- Durability designed to last beyond a season
We don’t cut corners to compete with fast fashion pricing.
7. How do I choose the right size?
Start with our Size Guide and compare measurements to a garment you already own that fits well.

We also offer hassle-free exchanges to reduce sizing risk.
8. What is your return and exchange policy?
We offer free and hassle-free exchanges and returns within 30 days of receiving your order to ensure your purchase is low-risk and fit is right.
Full details can be found on our Returns & Exchanges Policy page.
9. Where are your garments manufactured?
Our garments are produced with trusted manufacturing partners in China that meet our quality standards.
We prioritise fabric quality, construction integrity, and consistent finishing across every batch.
10. Why is your product range limited?
We grow intentionally.
Each product undergoes multiple rounds of sampling and refinement before release. We prioritise precision and quality over rapid expansion.
A wider selection is in development — without compromising standards.
11. Do you restock sold-out items?
Some bestsellers are restocked, but timelines vary.
Because we produce in small batches, restocks may take several months. If an item is out of stock, let us know and we’ll notify you when it returns.
12. Can I try Atlas & Bone in person?
Yes.
We operate a private in-home studio in Singapore where customers can try on pieces with no obligation. Simply DM us on Instagram to schedule an appointment.
13. Do your clothes shrink after washing?
We pre-test fabrics for shrinkage and durability. We recommend following the care instructions provided to maintain structure and longevity.
